Additional Mowing Modes

• Spot Cutting
  This mode allows the mower to focus on mowing a small, limited area of longer grass, such as under garden furniture. Once the area is mowed, it resumes normal operation.
• Spiral Cutting
  When the mower encounters areas of higher grass, it automatically switches to a spiral cutting pattern to even out the grass height.
• Secondary Area
  If your lawn is divided into separate zones, you can set up a secondary area within your installation. The mower will work within this area for a set time or until the battery runs out, and then needs to be manually moved between zones.

Effortless Customization

• Remote Start Points
  The 450X can start mowing from up to five remote locations along the boundary wire. This ensures consistent coverage, especially in larger lawns.
• Weather Timer

Charging Station

All Husqvarna Automowers are supplied with a charging station. Automower will make its own way back to the station, as and when it requires. The charging station sends a signal through the boundary wire which helps to guide Automower.

The ideal placement for the charging station is in a shady spot on flat ground.

Boundary Wire

The boundary wire acts like an electronic fence and defines the mowing area of the robotic lawn mower. The charging station sends a signal through the boundary wire.

If Automower goes over the boundary line, it will stop, turn around and continue in another direction.

Guide Wire

Whilst guide wire isn’t a required with Automower, it does open up a lot of possibilities.

If you have a lawn with a remote, complex area or a small passage that is less than 6.5ft wide, its a good idea to connect a guide wire. Guide wires help the mower find the remote area and also helps find the fastest way back to the charging station.
