The Duotts E29 is an electric mountain bike designed for riders who demand both performance and durability, whether on challenging trails or urban commutes. Built around a robust aluminium alloy frame, it offers a perfect balance of strength and lightness, ensuring riders can handle demanding terrain with confidence. Motor and Power Delivery

At the heart of the E29 lies a Bafang 48V 250W motor, renowned for its reliability and efficiency. While it delivers a standard output of 250W for street compliance, it can reach a peak power of 720W when extra torque is needed. Producing 50Nm of torque, it easily tackles steep inclines and challenging off-road trails. The bike supports two top speed settings: 25 km/h for legal road use and up to 40 km/h once the speed limit is unlocked for private or off-road riding.

Battery and Range

Powering the motor is a high-capacity 48V 13.5Ah lithium battery, paired with a 54.6V 2A charger. A full charge takes around 6–7 hours, making it convenient to recharge overnight. In pedal-assist mode, the Duotts E29 can achieve a maximum range of 90 km, allowing for long adventures without frequent charging. The battery is integrated neatly into the frame, offering both protection and a sleek appearance.

Display and Controls

The bike features a 3.5-inch HD LCD display, providing real-time data such as speed, distance, battery level, and pedal assist settings. A built-in Type-C charging port allows you to power your smartphone or other devices while on the go, adding practicality to long rides. Riders can choose from five pedal-assist levels, thanks to the torque sensor system that delivers smooth and responsive power assistance based on pedalling force.

Transmission and Drivetrain

The E29’s drivetrain is equipped with a Shimano Tourney 2×7-speed derailleur system, giving a total of 14 gear combinations. This setup provides flexibility for climbing steep hills, cruising at high speeds, or fine-tuning pedalling effort on different terrains. The aluminium alloy crank (170 mm) ensures durability, while the 69 cm handlebar offers precise control and a comfortable riding stance.

Suspension and Comfort

For absorbing bumps and rough surfaces, the E29 comes with a ZOOM single-side aluminium suspension fork offering 100 mm of travel, adjustable settings, and a lockout function for efficient riding on smooth surfaces. At the rear, a DNM 750 lb adjustable air shock smooths out impacts, ensuring stability and comfort on trails.

Braking Performance

Stopping power is provided by Shimano MT200 dual-piston hydraulic disc brakes with 180 mm rotors at both ends. This high-quality braking system delivers consistent performance in all weather conditions, giving riders confidence and safety even on steep descents.

Tires and Ride Stability

The bike rides on Maxxis 27.5″ x 2.6″ tires with a 60 TPI casing and inner tubes, offering excellent grip, shock absorption, and puncture resistance. The larger tire width improves traction on loose surfaces, while maintaining rolling efficiency on roads.

Additional Features

The 40 LUX headlight ensures visibility during night rides, and aluminium alloy pedals add strength and reliability. The IPX4 water resistance rating means it can handle light rain and splashes without issue. With a maximum load capacity of 150 kg and a recommended rider height range of 170–200 cm, the Duotts E29 caters to a wide variety of users.
