We pressure treat all of the timbers used to make our children’s climbing frames. Pressure treating the timber provides enhanced durability, so it is significantly more resistant to decay, rot, and insect infestation compared to untreated wood. It also has more protection than dip treated or stained timber, as preservative is forced deep into the material rather than just coating the outside. This makes it an excellent choice for a garden climbing frame. Our pressure treated wooden climbing frames are built to last, providing a fun and safe environment for children to play in an active and imaginative way. Safety has been considered throughout the design process to ensure a safe and stable structure that will be enjoyed for years to come. We independently test our climbing frames to EN71 Standards, and also include extra bracing, sturdy metal brackets, and strong metal ground anchors.
